High-quality tailoring service specializing in modifying and adjusting garments to achieve a perfect fit, enhance style, and ensure durability. This service is provided by our in-house tailor Ariel Dedolph. Ariel has extensive knowledge of fabrics, garment construction, and tailoring techniques.

  • Hemming: Shortening or lengthening pants, skirts, dresses, and sleeves with precision to maintain the garment's original design and flow.

  • Waist & Fit Adjustments: Taking in or letting out waists, hips, or bust areas to ensure a snug but comfortable fit.

  • Taking in or Letting Out Seams: Adjusting side seams, inseams, and outer seams to accommodate body shape changes.

    Our Tailors

    Ariel Dedolph

    Ariel Dedolph began her professional sewing career volunteering at her local history museum and theatre, moving into theatre costume work in college. She is the former Collections Manager at the Textile Arts Gallery in Santa Fe and the former Chief Assistant at Edle's Studio - Custom Sewing where she created custom costumes for the Santa Fe and New York Metropolitan Opera. Ariel's textile restoration work continues at her home studio with a focus on alterations, mending, reupholstery and quilting. Ariel is fascinated by the history of textiles and the desire to preserve or adapt modern clothing and home goods to everyday life. 

    Henley Carlson

    With ten years of sewing experience, Henley Carlson has developed a keen eye for the art of a well fitting garment. Over the past ten years, he has become well versed in various forms of fabric manipulation. From working at Milford Custom Upholstery to creating one of a kind upholstery pieces, to creating bespoke handmade suits in his free time, Henley brings his extensive portfolio of alterations experience to Chambers.
