Vintage Indigo Tie-Dye Tank
We partnered with Los Angeles-based multidisciplinary artist Laura Bartczak to create this limited collection of hand-dyed indigo garments.
This vintage tank has been dyed by hand using naturally derived indigo pigments. The dye is fixed and will fade gloriously and beautifully with time and wear.
Laura sees the dying process as an extension of her practice in non-toxic photo developing using household items where the indigo dye process mirrors the discipline of darkroom photo-developing.
Laura Bartczak is a movement and visual artist originally from Pine, Colorado. She received a BFA in Dance Performance and Choreography from Western Washington University. She makes super 8mm films, site specific dance, and performance documentation.
