The Ishani Jacket No. 4
Handmade from cotton vintage Kantha quilts sourced in Jaipur, the Ishani Jacket is designed to be treasured beyond transient seasonal trends. This one-of-a-kind piece reflects the original colors and patina of the recycled antique textiles with a comfortable age-softened feel. Areas of light fraying and mended patches show the unique history of the fabric.
The Ishani Jacket is fully reversible, with pockets and coconut shell buttons on both sides for maximum versatility. The garment also features a mandarin collar, and cotton bias finishing on one side to highlight the shape and graphic lines of the seams. Additional embroidery over the original Kantha stitch gives this item a bold and modern accent.
All Namai garments are designed in New York and handcrafted in a small, family-run workshop in India by local artisans. We are committed to sustainable, zero-waste design and ethical production.
This delicate item should be hand washed in cold water and dried flat.
