The Narmada Jacket No.7
Handmade from cotton vintage Kantha quilts sourced in Jaipur, the Narmada Jacket is designed to be treasured beyond transient seasonal trends. This one-of-a-kind piece reflects the original colors and patina of the recycled antique textiles with a comfortable age-softened feel. Areas of light fraying and mended patches show the unique history of the fabric.
The Narmada Jacket is fully reversible with large roomy pockets on both sides. It’s left open with a button free collar stand, for maximum versatility. The garment also features a mandarin collar, and cotton bias finishing on one side to highlight the shape and graphic lines of the seams. Graphic prints on the repurposed textiles used to make the Kantha quilts gives this item a bold and modern accent.
All Namai garments are designed in New York and handcrafted in a small, family-run workshop in India by local artisans. We are committed to sustainable, zero-waste design and ethical production.
